Wright mattresses are made in the United States. The foam is poured and cut on-site at our factory in Coweta County, Georgia. The fabrics are woven in Rockingham County, North Carolina. Our down pillows and comforters are filled and finished in Southern Ohio. Every foam in a Wright mattress, from the W1.27 to the W2.15, is CertiPUR-US certified.
Where is a Wright mattress made?

Pouring our own foam matters more than it sounds. A lot of mattress brands buy foam from whoever has it, then assemble layers designed around what's available. Because the foam for a Wright mattress is poured and cut in the same place the mattress is built, the layers can be made to our exact spec: a 4 lb, 10 ILD gel memory foam for the top of the W1.27, a 3 lb, 18 ILD ZeroG transition layer, and so on. The recipe is the product.
What goes into a Wright mattress?
Three foam families, plus coils in the hybrid.
3Below gel-infused memory foam is the surface layer on both mattresses. The gel infusion pulls heat away from your body while the memory foam contours to it. On the W2.15, this layer is also copper-infused and carries an active thermaphase cooling surface.
ZeroG foam sits underneath in both mattresses. It's the transition material that came out of our prototyping: soft enough to keep the contour going, supportive enough that you never sink to the base. The W1.27 uses a polymer-reinforced version.
The base is where the two mattresses part ways. The W1.27 sits on 6 inches of dense 1.8 lb base foam. The W2.15 sits on 8 inches of triple-zoned, triple heat-tempered pocket coils with reinforced edge support. How is the mattress built for airflow?
Cooling is engineered in at the factory, not sprayed on at the end. The foam layers are cut with a crosshatch ventilation pattern so air can move through the core of the mattress. The side panels are a breathable mesh that gives that air somewhere to go. On top, a quilted cover promotes airflow at the surface, and on the W1.27 the shell is removable and washable. What does CertiPUR-US certified mean?
CertiPUR-US is an independent certification program for polyurethane foams. Certified foams are made without harmful chemicals and are low in VOC emissions, which matters for the air quality in your bedroom. Every foam we use is CertiPUR-US certified. That covers both mattresses, top to bottom.
Why does Wright make everything in America?
Control, mostly. Our founder Dan Hauber spent years in the mattress industry before starting Wright, and the lesson he took from it was that quality problems usually start where you can't see them. Keeping production in Georgia, North Carolina, and Ohio means we can see everything.
It also matters to our hotel partners. Nearly 200 boutique hotels have signed on to put Wright beds in their rooms, and hotels buy on durability and consistency, because their mattresses get slept on every night by different bodies. Passing hotel procurement is a harder test than any showroom, and consistent domestic manufacturing is part of how we pass it.
And it's why we can stand behind a 15-year warranty when most of the industry stops at 10. When you make the foam yourself, you know what it can take.
What about the bedding?
Same philosophy. Our White Duck Down Pillows ($140-195) and Comforter ($260-435) use 100% white duck down from the Great Lakes region inside a 400-thread-count Supima cotton shell, filled and finished in Southern Ohio. The American Cotton sheet line is Supima percale, and the American Steel Bedframe ($220-310) is made from recycled American steel.
